Ryarc History
Ryarc is a software company focusing on Digital Signage Software, distributed audio and playback technology. Ryarc's core product is CampaignManager, an end-to-end Digital Signage management platform which is used to operate and manage digital signage networks, large and small all over the world. CampaignManager also allows you to expand your digital signage network to include an audio (in-store radio) platform as well as a corporate communications channel, all managed from a central location.
The idea for CampaignManager began in 2000 when Fergal Ó Ceallaigh, then a Microsoft software engineer, saw a gap in the market for a truly easy to use digital signage software platform.
After about three years of prototyping and development the product was finally ready and Ryarc began to operate as a commercial entity in 2003. As an example of our international focus, Ryarc's first customer was actually based in the USA. In late 2004, Ryarc really got some momentum when EYE Corporation signed on to replace their previous Linux based platform.
With nothing more than a modest sum of angel capital Ryarc has grown organically to the company it is today. Ryarc is now one of the leading digital signage software companies in the market whose software powers tens of thousands of screens around the world. Our company and products have grown and expanded with revenue from happy customers, not expectant venture capitalists.
Not just a digital signage software company, Ryarc has recently added two media management platforms to its suite of products. Zusa is a screen saver based corporate communications platform and Dappler is an in-store radio / corporate audio platform. All three products give Ryarc's customers and channel partners the ability to manage multiple communication channels for their business or customers from a central location.
Ryarc customers include large Out-of-Home (OOH) media companies such as Eye Corp (Australia, USA and the UK), Torch Media, Future Media, and Moving Tactics. CampaignManager also powers thousands of displays across various industries. Some other users of CampaignManager you may have heard of include include, Microsoft, Intel, Santos Corporation, Vodafone, Irish Defence Forces, NDTV (India), Fitness First, Singapore Airport, Irish Life & Permanent, VIPs Restaurant Network (under Wal-Mart), Barnes & Noble, T-Mobile (USA) and State Farm Insurance.
