I want to offer a digital signage service to my customers.
Many customers require digital signage but have no wish to own or operate the system
themselves. This presents a huge opportunity for service providers to establish
a digital signage offering. With CampaignManager, you can offer your customers an
easy to use package that will help them manage their digital signs. You can relax
in the knowledge that you will be providing your customers a truly world class solution
as used by the world’s largest companies and digital signage networks.
We find that integrators and resellers are most often asked to provide one of the following three types of requirements:
My customer wants a full system installed that they will run and manage
Unlike many other Digital Signage Software systems, CampaignManager is capable of
being fully operated out of the box, not requiring internet subscriptions or connections
to 3rd party (or the software manufacturer’s) services. You can install CampaignManager
onto any network and turn over control of the Digital Signage System upon completion.
Most customers do not want a steep learning curve and just want to get on with operating
their screens. Thanks to CampaignManager’s legendary ease of use, customers will
quickly master the system. ‘Knowledge Worker’ as opposed to ‘IT Professional’ skill
is all that is required, ensuring happy and productive users who can get on with
publishing to their network and not constantly requiring support!
My customer wants to be able to operate the system but does not want to host the
back end
Sometimes a customer will want the ability to operate their digital signage but
are either not equipped or do not wish to manage the back end. Because of the way
CampaignManager is designed, you can host the back end yourself and just deliver
the front end (screens and editing/publishing software) to your customer. This greatly
simplifies matters for the customer and presents a good opportunity to a sell service
based package as opposed to an install.
My customer wants a system ‘dropped in’ to their area but do not want it to touch
their existing network
Often, a customer (or more often still, the Customer’s IT department) will balk
at the idea of bolting on a digital signage system onto the existing enterprise’s
network. This legitimate concern can be due to security matters or simply not wishing
to overburden mission critical connectivity. An easy way around this problem is
to have the Digital Signage system operate on its own network.
Thanks to CampaignManager’s field-proven ability to work with GPRS, 3G and wireless
connections, you have many options to choose from should the customer require the
system to remain outside of the existing network.
My customers often worry about the security implications of Digital Signage. They
want to be sure that their network is secure. How does CampaignManager ensure this?
CampaignManager uses industry standard encryption and a host of proprietary technology
to ensure the security of the Digital Signage Network. Our system has delivered
hundreds of millions of content pieces without a single recorded security problem.
Quite simply, the only way a piece of media can display on a CampaignManager display
is if the CampaignManager software has approved and published the content centrally.
Users can also protect the CampaignManager software itself and bar access to certain
functions by requiring a password etc. My customer likes the idea of Digital Signage
in their premises but is concerned about the system using lots of bandwidth.
How does the CampaignManager system minimize network load?
First of all, it is important to understand that the CampaignManager Digital Signage
Software is not a streaming solution, but a ‘pull and play’ system. So, there is
no streaming across the network during normal operation. However, content published
to a device, does have to use the network to be delivered and this can bring the
Digital Signage system into conflict with the normal use of the network. CampaignManager
helps alleviate this problem in the following ways:
- Node Server
Using CampaignManager’s new Node Server (coming in version 2.0), you can nominate
one player to act as the download agent for a group of players in the same local
area. This means that content need only be downloaded once, even if it is shared
amongst several players.
- Media Library
When a piece of media is published and downloaded to a device, the player keeps
a copy of that file for a configurable period, so that, should the media be used
again at a later date, it can be reused without requiring the content to be downloaded
once more.
- Scheduled Off Peak Publishing
CampaignManager allows you to nominate periods of the day during which no new content
will be distributed to remote players. This allows you to have content distributed
at times convenient to the network, such as overnight or on weekends.
Can I host the Back end myself and roll out players as I need them?
Absolutley. CampaignManager’s flexible licensing allows you to add or remove player
licences as you require them.
I want to resell Ryarc software. Can I do that?
Ryarc are interested in hearing from systems integrators and resellers. If you would
like to find out more, please contact sales.
